Andrew Gifford is cited as one of the most innovative landscape painters working today. Drawn to light-filled woodland interiors and forgotten corners of the countryside, Gifford’s work elevates his subjects through intense observation and dazzling painterly technique. A graduate of Newcastle University, his work continues to evolve within the long tradition of landscape and is widely collected throughout the world.
