Introducing the Crustacean Collection, three brilliantly executed illustrations by the renowned oceanographer, Albert I, Prince of Monaco. This collection comprises The Cardinal Prawn (Plesiopenaeus edwardsianus), The Royal Spiny Lobster (Panulirus regius), and The Rock Crab (Cancer bellianus). All of these are, as always, also available as single cards.

Albert I (Albert Honoré Charles Grimaldi; 13 November 1848 – 26 June 1922) was Prince of Monaco from the 10th September 1889 until his death in 1922. He devoted much of his life to oceanography, exploration and science. Alongside his expeditions, Albert I’s reign oversaw major reforms on political, social, and economic levels, with the Monégasque Revolution leading to the end of absolute monarchy and his promulgation of a constitution in 1911.
