Eric Ravilious ‘Newhaven Harbour’. Also available with The Lifeboat and Aldeburgh Bathing Machines as the Ravilious by the Sea collection.
This colour lithograph depicts Newhaven Harbour, a favourite spot of the artist, which he painted frequently, in peacetime and during the hostilities of World War Two. He would have known it from his youth, being brought up just along the coast at Eastbourne, but was also a frequent visitor as an adult when staying with Peggy Angus, whose house, ‘Furlongs‘ lay upstream of the river Ouse, which reaches the coast here.
Blank inside, so suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, and all occasions.
Dimensions: 140mm by 140mm (square).
Printed on 300gsm FSC approved Invercote card stock using high quality inks to retain the colours of the original image. Each card is supplied with a white laid envelope, so you can share them with friends and family.
