We’re delighted to present the eighth of our Simon Palmer postcard series, comprising the following six images: To Nosterfield, Low Burton Wood, Fairy Well, Carperby Lane, All Souls Day, and Above Spindlestone.

A6 size (Dimensions: 10.5 x 14.85 cm, or 4.1 x 5.8 inches).

Printed on 350gsm invercote card using high quality inks to retain the colours of the original images.

Simon Palmer is one of the country’s leading landscape artists. Originally trained in graphic design in Surrey, he discovered his true métier interpreting the landscapes of Yorkshire in ink and watercolour after a chance visit with some friends. He has, for many years, made the county his home. Influenced by Graham Sutherland and Samuel Palmer (no relation), his detailed scenes of the interplay between trees, lanes, shadows, sunlight and fields fascinate and draw the observer further in with every viewing.
