David Inshaw ‘Goldfinches’
A greeting card featuring David Inshaw’s rather brilliant depiction of a charm of 28 goldfinches and one unconcerned (or soon to be surprised) robin. Incidentally, ‘charm’, the collective noun for a flock or group of goldfinches, comes from the Late Latin carminare, from Latin carmen ‘song, verse, enchantment, religious formula’. (From the Online Etymology Dictionary).
Printed on 300gsm Invercote card stock using high quality inks to retain the colours of the original image. The card dimensions are 140mm by 140mm.
Also available as part of the David Inshaw Collection.
