Introducing the Ravilious in Sussex Postcard Collection (No. 2). Featuring Mount Caburn, Newhaven Harbour, Beachy Head Lighthouse (Belle Tout), Beachy Head, Cuckmere Haven, and Rye Harbour. Six postcards printed on 300gsm invercote card using high quality inks to retain the colours of the original images.

Eric Ravilious (22 July 1903 – 2 September 1942) was an exceptional watercolourist, wood engraver and designer. He grew up in the shadow of the Sussex Downs in the coastal town of Eastbourne, the surrounding landscape of which heavily influenced many of his best known works. His instantly recognisable style, palette and choice of subject have an almost universal appeal, a blend which has increased in popularity with the passing of time, particularly in the first two decades of the 21st century.

The Ravilious Sussex Collection Part II consists of the following images: Eric Ravilious ‘Mount Caburn’, watercolour, 1935, ‘Newhaven Harbour’, watercolour, 1937, ‘Beachy Head Lighthouse (Belle Tout)’ watercolour and pencil on paper, 1939, ‘Beachy Head’, watercolour, 1939, ‘Cuckmere Haven’, watercolour and pencil, 1939, and ‘Rye Harbour’, watercolour, 1938.

Each A6 postcard comes with the title, name of the artist, medium, and date printed on the reverse.
