‘Yew Court, Scalby, near Scarborough’, John Atkinson Grimshaw, oil on board, 1887.

This view of Yew Court (including the yews) is largely intact today. The chief differences are that the trees on the right are gone, and there’s a streetlight on the corner, with a second down by the yews. Some building work has also taken place, seemingly not too long after the painting was completed. Also available as part of the John Atkinson Grimshaw Collection (Part I).

Blank inside, so suitable for birthdays, anniversaries, and all occasions.

Dimensions: 178mm by 127mm (landscape).
